Plantation shutters are made to the dimensions and proportions of each opening, giving a clean architectural finish while allowing the louvres to manage daylight, privacy and glare. Full height, café style and tier-on-tier arrangements can each suit different rooms and different ways of using a window.
During the survey we check the reveal, handles, opening sections and surrounding features before discussing panel layout, louvre size, frame position and finish. Hardwood, MDF, faux wood and waterproof materials are available, with the choice guided by the room, expected use and preferred appearance. Once made, the shutters are aligned, fitted and checked for smooth operation.
