Flexible control across two shutter tiers

Tier-on-tier shutters cover the full window but divide the installation into independently opening upper and lower panels. You can keep the lower tier closed for privacy while opening the top, open both tiers fully, or leave everything closed and adjust the louvres. That flexibility can suit rooms where privacy and daylight requirements change at different times of day.

The additional panel arrangement needs careful planning. During the survey, we look for a natural division in the window and check that each tier has space to open without catching handles, furniture or nearby walls. Panel widths, hinge positions and frame alignment are agreed before manufacture. Tier-on-tier is not the right answer for every opening, so we will assess whether the proportions and available clearance make it practical.
